Nope! League is where you get good.
The Cut is home to some of the top axe and knife throwers in the world. Seriously. You can watch us on ESPN in the 2022 World Axe Throwing Championship and 2022 World Knife Throwing Championships.
But we didn’t start off good – we learned how to throw better from watching and working with others. You’ll get to do the same. And we have some good news – because our top OG throwers are in or leading league you’ll develop your skills much faster than we did!
IT DEPENDS
If league participants are focused and moving quickly Leagues can take around 4-5 hours. Sometimes they take longer (6+ hours). Our goal is to do them quickly and efficiently so you can spend the afternoon and evening of your weekend day doing other things you love.

Whether you’re gunning for the IAFT International Axe Throwing Championship held in Toronto, Canada each year or thriving to earn a sport in the WKTL World Axe & Knife Throwing Championships, Marathon Leagues are a great way to get training in so you can optimize your mechanics and head game to perform at your highest level.
