WHAT IS A MARATHON LEAGUE?

Smiling man holding an axe throwing trophy and a tablet at an axe throwing venue with wood targets in the background.
  • A Marathon League is like an normal throwing League, except it takes place all in one day.

  • Throwers will throw AT LEAST 20 Matches in a Marathon League, plus a Playoff Tournament.

  • Marathon Leagues are typically 12 Throwers or less, but have been known to grow a bit larger.

  • Marathon Leagues take somewhere between 3 and 8 hours to complete, depending on the number of participants.

  • Marathon Leagues are a GREAT way to get better at throwing sharp stuff and to meet veteran throwers awesome people in the axe and knife throwing community.

  • Marathon League Champs take home a custom trophy (like Danny Abarcas in the photo, owner of Woossie Axes).
